Pre-Use Inspection Guidelines

1. Closing the Lid
   – Slightly press the lid handle from top to bottom.
   – Turn the open/close handle to the ‘cook’ position.
   – Lift the lid handle slightly to ensure it is fully engaged.
   – Ensure the pressure indicator is upright.
2. Opening the Lid
   – Tilt the pressure indicator diagonally to release internal pressure.
   – Ensure the safety valve is lowered.
   – Turn the open/close lever to the ‘open’ position.
   – Lift the lid handle to open.
3. Check for Blocked Pressure Indicator Hole
   – Turn the pressure indicator counterclockwise to remove it, and check if the indicator hole is blocked.
   – If blocked, use a thin pin to clear it.

How to Check the Pressure Indicator Hole
– Stand the pressure indicator vertically and turn it counterclockwise to remove it.
– Check if the hole inside the lid of the pressure indicator is blocked.
– If blocked, clear it with a safety pin.
